A bit about Deb 

    My love for animals and impressionist landscapes has always captivated me. Since enrolling in an ongoing art class at Journey West Art School in Tucson, my desire to paint has blossomed. The world looks amazing after learning color values in relation to the tonal plans. 

I mostly paint by imagination. I look at photos for inspiration and often see the paintings in my head before working on a preliminary composition drawing. I am currently working on creating more contrast, with brighter colors, and some still-life and portraits.

    I have lived in Tucson for about 25 years and currently reside in the Old Fort Lowell neighborhood. I juggle a nursing career and oil painting. I am honored to take part in the Annual Fall Art Show and Sale at the San Pedro Chapel.
